I’m Scott. When I’m not running my agency, Lodge Social, I write to crystalize my thoughts then post about it.

Most times, it’s related to short term rental marketing. Sometimes, I’ll write about entrepreneurship as a whole or travel.

My timeline of existence and the things that happened:

age 0-2: Born at a young age and grew up over time.

age 3-18: Raised in Minneapolis, MN. Spent most time outside.

age 18-20: Personal training was my first passion. This is where I learned marketing and how to make money. Then, I quit training and started my first real business, Digital Matrix Marketing which no longer exists today.

age 20-28: Here now. Living in Boston, MA while building Lodge Social.

age 30 and beyond: The future. Build a holding company for amazing nature hotels.

Here are some other notes:

• I run marathons. Most people don’t think that’s cool but I do.

• While we’re on the topic, I’m a huge fan of the Boston Marathon. It’s like the Super Bowl to me. I either watch or run it every year.

• I love to connect with other entrepreneurs and future friends. The best way to connect with me is through LinkedIn or Instagram

• Current side quest: Find the most beautiful trail marathon in the world. (in progress). Right now, the Deadwood Mickelson Trail Marathon takes the cake.
